At its heart, Upminster Men’s Shed aims to promote wellbeing, combat isolation, and strengthen local connections. The Shed encourages members to learn from each other, develop new skills, and contribute to meaningful projects that benefit the community. Whether someone is looking for companionship, a creative outlet, or a place to put their practical experience to good use, the Upminster Men’s Shed offers a friendly, purposeful environment where everyone can feel valued and involved.
Together we can make a difference in men's health and well-being.

Upminster Men's Shed is a welcoming space where men can gather to share stories, work on projects, and connect with others. Whether it's woodwork, woodturning, or just having a friendly chat, we encourage a supportive environment.
Anyone who identifies as a man and is looking for camaraderie, support, or just a place to explore their interests is welcome to join us at Upminster Men's Shed.
We offer a variety of activities mainly centred around woodworking, members can undertake their own personal projects or help with larger community based projects, in our blog section you can see some of the community projects we have been involved in.
Getting involved is easy! Simply reach out through our contact page,we will let you know what days we have spaces or we can put you on a waiting list for specific days if space is unavailable. We hope to start up further groups at different times or on different days, so please keep checking to see if additional sessions are added.
